Your employer can tell you whether your award is a qualified plan award. How the FICA Tax Works

Tax on Employers

If an employee receives cash remuneration from more than one employer in a calendar year for domestic service in a private home of the employer or for service not in the course of the employer’s trade or business, the pertinent cash-remuneration test is to be applied separately to the remuneration received from each employer.

Qualified distributions from a Roth account aren’t included in income. A distribution made before the end of the 5-tax-year period beginning with the first tax year for which you made a designated Roth contribution to the account isn’t a qualified distribution.
